Terms of service
This draft describes the worker terms that match the product today. It applies to workers using the Readily credential wallet. Where something is not yet built or not yet approved, this page says so instead of promising it.
1. What Readily is
Readily is a credential wallet for trade workers. You add your licenses and certifications, keep expiry dates current, and control who sees them. The core wallet is free. Worker Pro is an optional paid tier.
2. Creating your account
You sign up with your email and receive a one-time sign-in link. We also collect your legal name, a display name, and optionally your phone number.
Identity verification through our partner Didit is optional. It never blocks you from using your wallet, and verification status is always shown separately from self-reported status.
3. Your credential wallet
Each credential is self-reported or verified only after a separate source check. OCR photo import never sets verification status on its own; results stay self-reported until verified, and you review them before saving.
Uploaded documents are stored privately and served only through short-lived signed links. We store a hash of each file to detect changes; that is file-integrity checking, not a certification that the document is authentic, and we do not represent it as more than that.
4. Sharing with employers and schools
An employer can only see your credential status at a summary level once you accept a link request. You can end a share at any time; that stops future sharing but does not erase the historical record of what was shared while the link was active.
Employers cannot edit your records directly. They can propose a change, which you accept or reject.
5. Worker Pro (optional)
Worker Pro adds OCR-assisted photo import, guided credential organization, enhanced export formats, and reminder features, subject to the same operational limits shown on the public pricing page. Standard price is $39/year or $4.99/ month. Ordinary CSV export of your wallet is free forever, whether or not you are on Pro.
6. What Readily does not do
We do not determine your legal eligibility to work in any role, and we do not guarantee that a credential makes you compliant or job-ready. Those decisions belong to the licensing body or employer. We show what we can verify, where it came from, and when it was checked, and we never hide the distinction between self-reported and verified.
7. Ending your account
You can stop using Readily at any time. Today, removing a wallet entry archives it rather than erasing the underlying row, and there is no self-serve full-account-erasure flow. A full data-removal request runs through a verified privacy request with a non-destructive rehearsal first; nothing is removed without the required approvals in place.
8. Changes to these terms
We will post updates here and, for material changes, notify you by email. The published version will have a recorded version and effective date.
